The EDU-105 is a three-day class, comprised of:

EDU-101: Introduction to Dimensional Metrology Hand Tools I – Fundamental Tools

EDU-102: Introduction to Dimensional Metrology Hand Tools II – Surface Plate Tools

EDU-103: Introduction to Dimensional Metrology Hand Tools III – Hole & Depth Tools

Overview: 

EDU-105 is a three-day class for entry-level team members who need to learn the fundamentals of the steel rule, caliper, micrometer, pin gage, gage block, surface plate, height gage, indicator and stands, angle block, v-block, sine bar, depth gages, telescoping gages, holtest gages, bore gages, and thread gages. Experienced users should not expect to benefit from attending unless they have a strong willingness to update foundational measurement tool habits. Through hands-on instruction, this class focuses on the tool fundamentals and only briefly introduces part-to-print inspection.

Prerequisites:
No prior metrology or manufacturing experience is required to be successful in this class. However, participants are encouraged to complete the online EDU-A110 Introduction to Dimensional Metrology and EDU-A120 Units – The Language of Measurement classes.

Certificate: 
Participants will earn an Attendance Certificate from Mitutoyo America Corporation.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you are not able to attend a class for which you are registered, you can transfer your registration to another individual, or if you contact us at least one week prior to the start of class, you can receive a credit towards future class. No credit will be allowed in the case of no-shows and cancellations less than one week prior to the start of class. Payment in the form of credit card, purchase order or check must be received at least one week prior to the start of class. Same policy for credential testing, no refunds but if a person is no longer available to take testing, another person can take their place. Contact us one week prior for location testing. Course Cancellations:
Classes are subject to cancellation. Please confirm dates prior to making non-refundable travel arrangements. Most classes can be confirmed well in advance, and in all cases we can confirm the course at two weeks prior to the start of class. Mitutoyo America is not responsible for cancelled airfares or other expenses incurred due to cancellations. If a course is cancelled, then the option of full refund of the course fee or future credit will be offered.
